Athletics Club since 1953
Welcome to the website of Kilkenny City Harriers Athletics Club. Founded in 1953, the 'Harriers' is one of the longest established athletics clubs in Ireland with a proud history and tradition of achievement and participation.

NEW MEMBERS - Registration for NEW JUVENILE MEMBERS (7 years of age and older) will take place in reception area of The Watershed  at 6.30pm on Tuesday 6th September. The fee is €50 which covers the the session from now until Christmas 2016 and includes registration fee with Athletics Ireland.

FIT4LIFE - a) Existing members return on Thursday 1st Sept 6.30-7.30pm. All should have fee of €50 placed in "Post Box" with name and mobile number.
                      b) Those currently on waiting list should report for registration and training on Monday 5th Sept at 6.30pm.
                      c) Other new members are welcome on "first-come-first -served basis" on Thursday 8th Sept at 6.30pm.

UNDER 8's, 9's, 10's and 11's -
 Return to training on Tuesday 6th Sept at 6.30pm (train in Scanlon Park on Tuesdays at 6.30pm and Saturdays at 11.00am in the Castle Park). Limited places now available for new members. 
Under 12's, 13's and 14's - Return to training on Tuesday 6th Sept at 7.30pm (train in Scanlon Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm and The Castle Park on Saturdays at 11.00am). New Members welcome. 
ALL OTHERS - By arrangement with coaches.

NEW MEMBERS - Intending members should download and complete  "Application for Annual Membership" form (on "About" Page) and give completed form to a committee member or to a club coach at club training time. Forms also available at training on Tuesdays.

PARKING AT CASTLE PARK- When parking for training please avoid inconveniencing residents, and especially avoid parking on yellow lines.

 KILKENNY PARKRUN  - Register with KILKENNY PARKRUN and join the action in The Castle Park every Saturday morning at 9.30am for a 5K workout- It's free, You get your time, you make friends, you can do it in Dublin, Belfast, Central Park, New York etc. Just do it, Its for everyone.!! Juveniles (under 8 to 12 age groups) might consider doing just one lap or at most one and a half.

: More Volunteers needed - especially for ONE HOUR on Tuesday nights- no experience required. Coach training will be provided if needed. Contact any club coach or committee member. Volunteer when dropping off/collecting your child.
